Issue food
Indonesia is one of agrarian country which is potency to advance this agricultural become a better condition. Based data from agriculture department, wide of farm area of Indonesia reach 7,6 million ha. This potency also to support of riches comodity and good fertility area. At 2004, It also so much wide with opinion government that Indonesia has been reach swasembada rice.Other that government also make target of rice swasembada 2014 which if orientated on FAO ( Food and Agricultural Organization) is tehnical form food security.
Is enough, what government doing?
In the fact, source problem food isn't on productivity agriculture total product. If we see to 3 part on the agriculture sector, there are production, distribution and consume. So we'll be faced with simple problem, that is suitable food price. Reach Now a day happened difference enough high price between production price with sale price in the society (consume) specially on rice comodity . Now, price rice from farmer between Rp 2.300,- until Rp 2400,-/ Kg ( Equivalent with production cost Rp 1850,-/Kg) Just sale price in society turn between Rp 4800,- until Rp 5500,-/ Kg.
From this data able to see there are part of distribution which arrange by BULOG and middle-mans get profit almost as with production cost/Kg rice.
Opinion
Indonesia must advantages this potency, that is potency of agrarian country with agriculture production which very profit for country, definite with sale price in society which not too get much profit. So that all of Indonesian society able to complete their food and no Indonesian society who poor of rice.
